About De Ponte

De Ponte Cellars is located high in the Dundee Hills AVA of the Willamette Valley. Originally planted in 1975, the De Ponte Vineyard is home to 14 acres ofPinot Noir and just over 3 acres of Melon de Bourgogne vines. The fruit, and subsequently the wine, produced from these vines exemplifies the terroir of the Dundee Hills with its rich, red Jory soils.

Driven by their passion for wine, farming and the accompanying lifestyle, the Baldwin family started DePonte Cellars in 1999 in the pursuit of crafting distinctive and memorable wines that could be shared with family and friends alike.

Since the first vintage in 2001, veteran winemaker Isabelle Dutartre has put De Ponte on the map as an exceptional producer of hand-crafted wine. Extremely talented and driven by her uncompromising passion for the art of winemaking, Isabelle has con sistently created wines of extraordinary finesse that speak for themselves.

Visitors are welcome daily at the De Ponte Cellars tasting room to enjoy a flight of exceptional wines paired with great service and uncompromised views. Guests may also check into the availability of the De Ponte Cellars Vineyard Retreat – 4,500 square feet of comfort with amenities that include threemaster bedroom suites, chef inspired kitchen, 3 fireplaces, huge deck overlooking the vineyards andmuch more.
