About Winter’s Hill

Winter’s Hill Estate has been in the family since 1961, when Emily Gladhart’s parents, John and Lena Winter, purchased a fruit and grain farm on a corner of Oregon’s Dundee Hills. Peter & Emily and their son Russell planted the first 19 acres of grapes in 1990, 12 acres of Pinot Noir and 7 acres of Pinot Gris. The vineyard’s elevation of 525 to 730 feet on south facing slopes provides optimum warmth during summer days while exposing it to cool ocean breezes every afternoon that drop evening temperatures into the 50’s. These conditions bring the slow, gentle ripening so essential to the delicate character of fine Pinot Noir and Pinot Gris.

We invite you to join us in the winery for a flight of wine so you can see, smell, and understand how we make our wine, or bring a picnic and enjoy your wine outside while taking in the sweeping panoramic views of the Coastal Mountains.

You are invited to join us for our Winter’s Bazaar featuring wine tasting and local vendors. We will be releasing and tasting our 2005 Pinot Noir. This is one of the rare opportunities to sample one of our Library wines. We will also be sampling 2 other surprise library wines as well.

$15 covers all your tastings.


Summer Celebration Featuring Red Hills Market @ Winter's Hill Estate

You are invited to join us at Winter’s Hill Estate to celebrate summer with beautiful views and delicious food & wine! Red Hills Market will be here with their wood-fired oven cooking up delicious food to pair with our Pinot Noir, Pinot Gris, Pinot Blanc, and Rosé of Pinot Noir. Sit back, relax and take in the breathtaking views of the Coastal Mountains.

Food served from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.

This is also the time for Fueled By Fine Wine 1/2 Marathon packet pickup.
