To Jenna White, General Manager of The Dundee Hotel, there are no strangers in this world… Only friends she hasn’t met yet.
With an unmatched zest for life and a genuine desire to connect, Jenna has made The Dundee one of the most welcoming places to stay in Oregon wine country. Her team’s motto is to treat guests like family, and they’re vigilant about it, earning themselves more than one invite to guests’ weddings in the process. “We have the opportunity to change people’s lives when we come to work,” Jenna says. “To help them create memories that last a lifetime.”
It’s easy to fall in love with the Dundee Hills while staying at this boutique hotel on Dundee’s main street. With 22 art-filled rooms, four on-site tasting rooms, a champagne lounge, and a concierge team ready to help guests plan everything from vineyard visits to dog-friendly hikes, The Dundee is a luxurious landing spot for a getaway full of adventure or a cozy staycation. There are locally made bath products, luxurious robes and linens, plus many other amenities inside every room.
“We accommodate all types of travelers,” Jenna says. “Groups of friends, couples looking for a romantic escape, first-time visitors, seasoned wine enthusiasts. Most of our guests come to experience wine country in a way they never have before.”
Beyond the renowned wineries, including 100 within ten miles of The Dundee, visitors discover a whole region buzzing with energy including from farm-to-table restaurants like the on-site Wooden Heart, which serves wood-fired pizzas and handmade pastas, to hot air balloon rides, art galleries, and tucked-away spots where locals gather around the fire after a day among the vines.
“The Dundee Hills is literally my favorite place to be,” Jenna says. “When people visit, they don’t just come to drink wine. They become part of our story. They meet the winemakers. They eat meals with ingredients grown just down the road. They explore the same trails we do.”
Staying at The Dundee means more than just checking into a room. It means stepping into a community that’s passionate about place, and about sharing it with others. “We love sharing what’s going on here,” Jenna says. “This place is more than wine country. It’s a place you want to come back to.”
