TIME Magazine’s Great Places 2023: The Willamette Valley
TIME Magazine featured the Willamette Valley as one of the world’s 50 greatest places and celebrates it as “the new Napa”. When vines were first planted in the Dundee Hills in the 1970’s, no one would have guessed this AVA would become home to more than 700 wineries. As this article notes, the wine scene is the powerhouse of the Willamette Valley, but the luxurious accommodations and seasonal, local menus from renowned chefs also draw visitors from around the world.
