The ‘Alexana Vineyard’ is an outlier of a site, located on the very Northwestern limit of the famous Dundee Hills AVA.

This rare piece of vineyard land is where the confluence of Ancient Marine Sedimentary soils and the famous Volcanic soils of Dundee merge, resulting in a vineyard with 18 different soil types. Each vineyard block was planted to capture a specific soil type and clonal selection.

We aim to steward this diversity by farming, vinifying and barrel aging each block separately to understand the unique influences.
