Celebrating Fifty Years of Knudsen Vineyards

Knudsen Vineyards is a second-generation family owned and operated vineyard and winery. Established in 1971, this year they are celebrating their 50th Anniversary! Page Knudsen Cowles serves as Managing Director and has led the family’s return to winemaking and the opening of their first-ever tasting room in June of 2020.

As a devoted advocate for land conservation, Page serves on the National Board of Directors for the Trust for Public Land, the leading nonprofit working across America to conserve land for people. Knudsen Vineyard is LIVE Certified Sustainable and certified Salmon Safe, in addition to providing a habitat for Western Bluebirds via the Prescott Bluebird Recovery Project.

Knudsen Vineyards offers guided vineyard hikes on Fridays and Saturdays at 11am, which are most often led by Page, and allow guests to discover the history of viticultural innovations in the Dundee Hills and onsite at Knudsen. Following the hike, guests can enjoy a tasting of estate wines along with lunch on the scenic Terrace which features panoramic views of the Cascade Range, including both Mt Jefferson and Mt Hood.

Knudsen Vineyards also provides a Kids Juice Challenge to help make a day in wine country more enjoyable for the whole family! It consists of a “side by side” juice flight, snack box, activity menu, and crayons.

We’re looking forward to their next 50 years!
