Method Oregon Grand Tasting
Event Details:
Mark your calendars. The Method Oregon Grand Tasting Weekend returns July 24 to 26, 2026, bringing together more than 50 of Oregon’s founding sparkling wine producers for three days of tastings, education, and celebration in the Willamette Valley. The heart of the weekend, the Grand Tasting itself, takes place Saturday, July 25 at Domaine Willamette, with All Access pass holders admitted at noon and General Admission opening at 1 pm. Wines from 50+ producers will be available, alongside paired bites.
What Is Method Oregon?
Method Oregon is a nonprofit organization founded by and for the state’s sparkling winemakers, built to establish Oregon as a world class sparkling wine region and to tell the story of its fast growing traditional method movement. The Method Oregon mark is a symbol of rigorous standards. To carry it, a wine must be made from 100% Oregon fruit, produced entirely in Oregon, made using the traditional method (a second fermentation in the bottle followed by disgorgement to remove the lees), and aged en tirage for a minimum of 24 months at a minimum of four atmospheres of pressure. Starting in 2029, source fruit must also be farmed organically or under LIVE certification without synthetic herbicides, and labels must disclose the source AVA and disgorgement date.
Participating Dundee Hills Wineries
Dundee Hills has always been at the center of this story, and this year is no exception. Several of our region’s wineries will be pouring at the Grand Tasting, representing the very roots of Oregon’s sparkling wine movement.
