Watch Bottle Shock at Domaine Lumineux
Event Details:
This May, in honor of Oregon Wine Month, we’re pressing pause on our usual Coppola Movie Night series to screen a few iconic wine-themed films.
Screening: Bottle Shock (2008), the feel-good film based on the true story of the 1976 “Judgment of Paris”—the blind tasting that put California wine on the global map and stunned the French wine establishment.
Starring Alan Rickman, Chris Pine, and Bill Pullman, Bottle Shock follows the scrappy, sun-soaked world of Napa Valley winemakers fighting for respect, one bottle at a time. With humor, heart, and a bit of rebellious spirit, the film celebrates the underdogs who changed wine history.
Only 18 tickets available per screening. Reservations are required.
Each ticket includes freshly popped popcorn, with the option to pre-order a cheese and charcuterie board. Wine will be available by the glass and by the bottle. Club members enjoy a complimentary glass of wine for up to four guests.
About the Series: To celebrate Oregon Wine Month, we’re swapping Coppola classics for beloved wine films that capture the quirks, charm, and chaos of the wine world. Join us on May 9th for a screening of Sideways.
