Talking Blocks Hike & Wine Flight
Walk in the footsteps of our parents, Cal & Julia Lee Knudsen, and learn about our 125-acre vineyard, planted mainly to Pinot noir and Chardonnay, plus a tiny block of Pinot meunier. Our family has owned this land since 1971 and we look forward to sharing our history with you as we take a casual hike to the Talking Blocks – a new series of limited production Pinot noir focusing on four unique blocks.
Discover the wines that come from these blocks and learn about our low-impact and sustainable farming practices. Managing Partner and Second Generation Owner, Page Knudsen Cowles, will be your host for this memorable experience at Knudsen Vineyards. An educational tasting on our Terrace will follow the hike to discuss the many characteristics found in our wines including the effects of elevation, aspect, vine age, clonal selection, and vine spacing.
A boxed picnic lunch will be provided and menu options will be emailed separately prior to the event.
Each daily hike is limited to 12 people. Approved face coverings are required, and social distancing between parties is maintained. Associated groups may be seated together. Individual parties will be seated separately with six feet ore more of distance maintained.
$55 per person/ $40 for Family Roots Wine Club Members and up to four guests.
