Great wine begins with a healthy ecosystem. LucidWild is proud to be LIVE Certified (Low Input Viticulture & Enology) as well as Salmon Safe and Bee Friendly certified to ensure our farming practices protect and preserve the land and local waterways.

Power of Dry Farming
We practice 100% dry farming, a method that relies solely on natural rainfall. By not utilizing irrigation, it conserves a precious natural resource and forces the vine roots deep into the volcanic Jory soil to find the water source. This effort is essential to the quality our single-vineyard estate wines:

Intensity: Vines produce smaller berries with a higher skin-to-juice ratio.

Flavor: This results in naturally balanced wines with intense concentration and complex layering.

Precision: We hand-thin grape clusters and practice 100% hand-harvesting and sorting of the dry-farmed vineyard, ensuring only the most perfect fruit reaches the fermentation tank.

Living Breathing Vineyard + Regenerative Farming
LucidWild has dedicated over 15% of the estate to natural habitat, supporting the native grasses, pollinators, wildlife as well as preserving the oak and Douglas Fir trees that keep our ecosystem in balance.

By promoting and supporting biodiversity, we invite beneficial neighbors like owls, hawks, deer, coyotes and kestrels. Their natural hunting instincts provide essential pest control without the need for chemicals. This harmony between predator and landscape strengthens soil health, reduces intervention, and allows our vines to express the true character of the Dundee Hills.

AUTHENTIC WINEMAKING + ACCLAIMED WINES
Nestled in the heart of Oregon’s renowned Dundee Hills, LucidWild is where sustainable farming meets a true sense of place. Guided by the ethos of “Putting the Land Before the Hand,” LucidWild is dedicated to crafting ultra-premium, limited-production, single-vineyard estate wines that serve as an honest and authentic expression of the 27-year-old, dry-farmed vines.

Minimalist Winemaking
LucidWild’s approach is one of stewardship and patience. We believe that truly exceptional wine is made in the vineyard. Our estate is 100% dry-farmed, forcing our vines to root deeply into the volcanic Jory soil, resulting in smaller berries with intense concentration and complex flavor profiles.

In the cellar, acclaimed winemaker Isabelle Meunier (classically trained in Burgundy and New Zealand) employs a minimalist, low-intervention touch to allow the vineyard to speak for itself.

Native Fermentation: We use only indigenous yeasts to highlight the natural elements of the single-vineyard estate

Extended Élevage: Wines are aged in French oak for 12–16 months to develop structure and texture and over 6 months in the bottle to ensure seamless integration and harmony before release

Sustainable Purity: We are LIVE Certified, Salmon Safe, and Bee Friendly, ensuring our farming regenerates the land for future generations.
