Discovery Series: Comparing Clones

Have you ever heard whispers of “clones” in the world of Pinot Noir, but weren’t sure what they had to do with wine? Well, grab a metaphorical magnifying glass, because we’re about to embark on an illuminating journey into the fascinating world of wine genetics with the next installment of our Discovery Series.

ROCO Winery’s Assistant Winemaker, Jarod Sleet, will take you on an exploration of Pinot Noir Dijon clones 667 and 777. Whether you’re a seasoned wine aficionado or just starting to dip your toes into the world of Pinot, this experience is designed to quench your curiosity and expand your wine knowledge.

Jarod will shed light on what a clone is, how it impacts the final wine, and why these Pinot Noir selections are so intriguing.

Light snacks will be provided.

There will be two afternoon offerings of this 90-minute experience: April 12th and 26th at 2pm.

Please note that space will be limited, ensuring an intimate and engaging setting for each participant.
