Discovery Series: Wits’ End Vineyard

Delve into the evolution of Chardonnay with the May Discovery Series!

Oregon Chardonnay is being celebrated, and for a good reason. In this month’s installment of our Discovery Series, you’ll have the opportunity to explore the evolution of our Wits’ End Vineyard Chardonnay.

Wits’ End Vineyard is owned by the founders of ROCO, Rollin and Corby, and is on the southwestern slope of the Chehalem Mountain Range at an elevation of 400 feet. The vineyard is planted mainly in sedimentary soils and is surrounded by native trees and two natural springs, making it a quintessential Willamette Valley landscape. The site is teeming with wildlife, with regular sightings of owls and hawks, coyotes, and even cougars!

Whether you’re a fan of Chardonnay or just discovering its subtleties, this experience will leave you with a deeper knowledge and appreciation for this versatile grape.
