We love Chardonnay at Sokol Blosser because of its versatility. Aged in oak, it becomes full bodied with notes of vanilla. Aged in stainless steel it becomes a bright, crisp wine. Our Sokol Blosser and Evolution Chardonnays are perfect examples of how different handling of the same grape can produce such different results.

Our Sokol Blosser Chardonnay is aged in French oak barrels with the lees to give it a weightiness and creamy mouth feel. The bright fruit compliments the elegant amount of oak.

In contrast, our Evolution Chardonnay only ages in stainless steel, so the wine bright and crisp, bursting with radiant minerality and citrus flavor.
