The Setting Inn

La Bastide Bed & Breakfast
This month, La Bastide began releasing the second series of their Youtube Channel “Wine Country Foodie,” which they started last year in response to guest demand for their delicious recipes. This year’s series includes recipes like their smoked salmon quiche, maple spiced hazelnuts, and maple bacon hazelnut biscuits.
La Bastide is an 8-room inn located within a couple miles of dozens of wineries and tasting rooms in the Dundee Hills. In addition to their comfortable accommodations, they elevate the guest experience by offering an extensive breakfast menu, all made fresh, with an emphasis on local and sustainable foods.
Franziska Haus Bed & Breakfast
If you’re looking for a place that perfectly combines elegance with Old World rustic charm, don’t miss Franziska Haus, an actual “log” lodge. Be sure to visit the winery to peruse their collection of more than 4,000 bottles of Pacific Northwest Wine from some of the best winemakers in the valley, many of which can be purchased during your stay. Take a seat on the patio overlooking the lavender field and the rolling vineyard slopes beyond while enjoying a tasting flight of their wines. If you’re lucky, their mini–Australian Shepherd, Scout, might stop by to welcome you to their little piece of paradise!
