Page’s Chocolate Walnut Pie
Your holiday guests will love you even more when you present this decadent chocolate walnut pie for dessert! This recipe is a family favorite of Page Knudsen’s and pairs well with sparkling wine. Bonus: You may already have all these ingredients at home!

Ingredients
- 3 eggs
- 2/3 cup sugar
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/3 cup butter, melted
- 2/3 cup light corn syrup
- 1 cup walnut halves
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 2.5-3 oz dark chocolate bar, melted
- 1 refrigerated pie crust
Preparation
- Preheat the oven to 450
- Line a pan with pie dough, and bake partially for 4-7 minutes, remove from oven to cool
- Reduce heat to 375
- In a mixer, combine eggs, sugar, salt, melted butter, corn syrup and vanilla
- Gently fold in walnuts and melted chocolate
- Fill the pie shell, and bake for 40-50 minutes at 375 or until a knife inserted in the filling comes out clean Serve warm or cooled
