Sip Magazine | 10 Family-Friendly Tasting Rooms in Oregon

Aakanksha Agarwal of SIP Magazine proves the whole family can enjoy an adventure to wine country in her roundup of 10 Family-friendly Tasting Rooms in Oregon. Among her picks are three from the Dundee Hills Winegrowers Association family-friendly experiences, room to explore, and special menu options just for kids.

KNUDSEN VINEYARDS: Currently celebrating their 50th year, the name “Knundsen” is synonymous with the high-quality wines the Dundee Hills is known for. Last year they opened their first tasting room and offer a “side by side” juice tasting for kids to enjoy as their parents enjoy a flight of wine. The juice flight also comes with activities and snacks to keep the kids entertained.

STOLLER FAMILY ESTATE: The expansive lawn outside of Stoller’s tasting room is just waiting for kids and their parents to come play together. They offer a frisbee golf course, a snack menu with items just for kiddos, and plenty of kid-friendly beverages that young ones can enjoy while mom and dad are wine tasting.

DURANT VINEYARDS AT RED RIDGE FARMS: If you’re a family that likes to explore, consider a visit to Durant where a plant nursery, flower gardens, and an olive mill sit on site alongside the tasting room with views of Mt. Hood. Families may also enjoy a walk around their nature trail, which goes through their vineyards and alongside a sheep pasture.
